The Microner Gyro Screen is a high efficiency vibratory separator for solids-solids or solids-liquids materials.

APPLICATION

Gyro Screen

The Microner Centri-Screen is a high capacity, dust tight screening/ separation unit that separates feed particles by particle size. Instead of "Gyratory" force, the particle size separation is obtained by centrifugal force.

OPERATIONS
The feed material has to be metered at the sifter inlet. A screw auger mounted on the shaft at the feed inlet delivers the material into the stationary screen chamber (nylon, wire mesh, perforated plate or profile wire). The high speed rotating paddles pick up the material and throw the particles against the screen surface by means of centrifugal force. The centrifugal force also delumps the material and expels particles smaller than the screen opening through the screen, which is discharged through a fines outlet. The particles larger than the screen opening are conveyed to the end of the screen basket and discharged through a separate overs outlet.
